       At the Ministry of Renovation, we provide direct contractor prices to help you with any projects. Be it big or small projects. You can always count on MOR.
    2. We’ll match you with 3-other service providers.
       Your enquiry will be sent to 3 other service providers. They will contact you to understand more about your renovation needs and draft out a quotation for you.
    3. Once done, you will pay directly to MOR.
       All cash payment must be made 100% to MOR upon each service confirmation. If the service provider asks you to pay upon delivery, please do not transfer them your money and report the matter to us.
       For cancellation of renovation service, please make sure to file your refund within the first 7 days from the date of your service confirmation

    The service provider has to sign up for a vendor account to build up their business profile so that consumer can review on their work.

  • What is the MOR Code of Conduct?

    • MOR is privileged to have connected homeowners and Service Providers to put the finishing touches to their house projects. We seek all user and service provider to uphold MOR core values to:
    • Be Respectful
      Always respect one another and each other’s property. If there’s a conflict, peacefully work together to resolve it.
    • Be Honest
      Stick to your agreements and be honest about what are the expectations and limitations of the project.
      As a service provider, be frank with the homeowner if the scope of work is out of your capability.
      As a homeowner, always be upfront if something isn’t going as agreed upon or planned.
    • Be Reasonable
      As a service provider, ensure that you’re building good customer service and delivering quality works at a reasonable price.
      As a homeowner, be considerate of the service provider’s time and money. Also, be reasonable in giving companies the reviews they’ve deserve.
    • Be Professional
      Communicate clearly and ensure each other is of comfort for every situation.
    • Be Dependable
      Never leave someone pondering where you are.
      Always answer calls, texts, and emails on time. Show that you value each other’s time by being present and punctual for all appointments.
    • Be Polite
      Make sure that everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated. No offensive, abusive language, vulgarities, sexually explicit language, and hate speech (e.g., racist/discriminatory speech)
    • MOR reserves the right to suspend any user or vendor account that fails to follow the MOR code of conduct from our site and other platforms.
• Pricing and Payments
  • Is it free to use MOR service?

    Yes. Anybody who wants to use the MOR platform to get connected with our service provider is free to use the platform. Furthermore, you can use the MOR platform to request projects quotation, review a company, post a projects, book a designer and even view various company ratings.

  • How do I know if I’m getting a reasonable price?

    When using the MOR platform to get connected with the service provider, our recommendation for you is to get at least 3-quotations and pay close attention to the job that they quoted you. If from the 3-quotations you still can’t decide what are the reasonable price. Try to submit your request the second time to get another 3-quotations till you are satisfied with the overall result.

  • Can I pay cash upon delivery?

    All cash payment must be made 100% to MOR upon each service confirmation. If the service provider asks you to pay upon delivery, please do not transfer them your money and report the matter to us.

  • What is MOR 7-day Money-Back Guarantee?

    Get your money back if you decide to cancel the renovation service within the first 7 days from the date of your service confirmation.

    Note: Service provider (Vendor) must be one of our platform service partners for you to be eligible for MOR 7-day Money-Back Guarantee.

  • How do I file for a refund?

    For filing to get a refund, you can write to us at enquiry@mor.sg. With the email subject header,” Cancellation of Renovation Service”, and provide us your:

    1. Name
    2. Contact number
    3. Address (Optional)
    4. A screenshot on the conversation you had with the service provider
    5. Your received quotation. (Confirmation Invoice)
    6. Reason to cancel renovation service

    Our team will respond to you within the next 3-5 working days.

    Note: Please make sure to file your refund within the first 7 days from the date of your service confirmation.

  • How soon will I get my refund?

    The process will take about 14 working days, once MOR have done the necessary evaluation with you and the service provider.

• Rating and Reviews
  • What are star ratings and reviews?

    MOR star rating and review help the consumer make informed decisions. When your renovation is done, we ask that you leave a star rating and review it on the service provider page. After the service provider had performed the task, you can log in to your account to search for the company name that had done up your house. And rate your experience and their service on a scale of 1 – 5 stars. 1 represents bad to 5 reflecting excellence work done.

    The business score is translated as follows:

    • 9 - 10 pts = Excellence
    • 7.5 - 8.9 pts = Very Good
    • 5 - 7.4 pts = Good
    • 3 - 4.9 pts = Average
    • 1 - 2.9 pts = Bad

    Here are some pointers to assist you when leaving your review:

    • Price: Is the price worth it for you?
    • Service: Did your service provider promptly respond to calls, emails, or questions in a timely manner? Were they on time?
    • Workmanship: Did the product meet your expectations?
    • Recommendation: Overall, would you recommend this company to your friends or relative?
  • How do I know I can trust the review I read on the MOR platform?

    MOR Safeguard:

    • No anonymous review: To uphold reviewer integrity, we do not allow anonymous review. When you leave a review, other users can see your name, rating, and your comments. Thus, allowing the service provider to rectify any issue privately if there’s a need to.
    • Verified review: MOR team will read all feedback before posting it out. Likewise, the company does not have the option to hide away poor reviews. That said, any company that engages in fraudulent behaviour will have its business profile temporarily suspended.
    • No biased review: Companies are not allowed to rate their own companies.
  • Can I write a review without joining MOR?

    To leave a review, you have to become a MOR user and agree to MOR’s privacy policy and terms and conditions. Not a user? Join MOR today!

  • Does MOR accept anonymous reviews?

    MOR does not accept any anonymous review. This is to prevent any manipulation to company score rating and to make sure that the business rating is of justice and accuracy. When you leave a review, other users can see your name, rating, and your comments. Thus, allowing the service provider to rectify any issue privately if there’s a need to.

    In its sole discretion, MOR reserves the right to reject post or remove any Review. All Ratings and Reviews of a Service Provider displayed to you reflect the opinions of other consumers. It does not reflect or represent the opinions or representations of MOR. MOR disclaims any and all representations or warranties with regard to Ratings and Reviews.

    Reviews do not reflect the views of MOR, its parent, subsidiary, or affiliated companies, or its employees, officers, directors, or shareholders.

    Furthermore, the reviewer acknowledges to let MOR contact the Service Provider about his or her work request. If a dispute arises between a consumer and Service Provider, the rating submitted may be held in pending status until resolution is reached. MOR does not hold responsibility for any liability for any Review or any claims, damages, or losses resulting from any use of the Site or the materials contained therein.

  • How often does MOR perform criminal background checks?

    We will perform a background check at any time when concerns are brought to our attention.

  • How do I know that a business is insured?

    A business that is covered by insurance will have “insurance’ text displayed on their company profile. By having Insurance at MOR platform refers to “Public Liability Insurance”.

    Since this information is self-reported, we strongly encourage you to verify with the service provider for their latest information, before starting any projects.

  • What does Company with Insurance cover?

    “Public Liability Insurance” covers the cost of claims made by member of the public for incidents that occur in connection with the business activities. Public liability insurance covers the cost of compensation for: personal injuries due to the incident, loss of or damage to property.

  • How does Vendor receive ratings and reviews?

    After the service provider had performed the task, you can log in to your account to search for the company name that had done up your house. And help them by leaving a review rating. Your review contribution is essential to determine your service provider business rating. Not just will it affect the company rating, with your help, you can also influence other consumers on their purchasing decision.

  • Can I be assured that every service provider who comes to my house has been through MOR’s background check?

    Unfortunately, we can’t perform a background check on the service provider employee. However, you can perform your own research on the service provider. We recommend you to make an enquiry with the business to find out more.
